Two girls been found dead at Denkyira Dominase in the Upper Denkyira West District of the central region.
The girls, Akua Boahemaa ,14 and Baaba Mensah ,10 got drowned in an abandoned galamsey pit full of water which is at the outskirt of the town.
The incident happened on Friday when the two girls and their friends went to a nearby river to swim .
A team of community members and the police on hearing the report moved in to retrieve the bodies. They have since deposited the bodies at the Dompoase Hospital Morgue for preservation.
