Atlantic Lithium has been adjudged the Best Performer in Exploration (Junior Category) at the 9th Ghana Mining Industry Award on Friday (1 December) in Accra.
This is the second time in a row, the Africa focused firm is winning the Best Performer in Exploration award! (Junior Category).
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Ghextractives.com on the sidelines of the award, Country Manager of Atlantic Lithium, Abdul-Razak Shaibu Ballah said the award is a testament of the firm’s dedication and hardwork.
“We are very excited, we won it last year and we won it this year too, it is because of our hardwork and dedication.”
“I think we have been working hard, we are very aggressive with whatever we are doing., We are exploring more and I think sometime next year we will upgrade our mineral resources,” he said.

The additional drilling will take the programme underway currently to 26,500m, said Atlantic, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2024
The Australia-based Atlantic Lithium on Thursday (19 October) secured a 15- year mining lease from the government of Ghana after meeting all the necessary requirements.
