Poultry lovers, farmers, agri-enthusiasts, and foodies are in for an exciting treat as Agrihouse Foundation gears up for the 5th Ghana Poultry Day Festival, with an official press launch scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Accra Tourist Information Center.
The launch event will set the tone for the main celebration on July 1, 2025, and promises to highlight the nutritional, health, and economic value of poultry farming in Ghana. It will also spotlight the growing intersection between agriculture and tourism, popularly known as agri-tourism.
Under the theme of promoting local poultry consumption and supporting the country’s poultry value chain, the press launch will offer a preview of what’s to come during the main festival.
Attendees can expect engaging conversations on poultry as a driver of food security, job creation, and agribusiness growth in Ghana.
“Do you love the taste of well-seasoned chicken — grilled, fried, or roasted? Then get ready! Something exciting is coming your way,” Agrihouse Foundation teased in a social media post, calling on the public to attend the event and be part of the journey leading to Ghana’s biggest poultry celebration.
The launch will bring together key stakeholders from the agricultural sector, agripreneurs, chefs, food processors, policymakers, and consumers in a collaborative space to celebrate Ghana’s growing poultry industry and its potential for economic transformation.
