Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu has advised Dani Ike Estate Developers Ltd, the private developer who is claiming to have bought the land belonging to the Parks and Gardens in Accra to go for a refund.
The 10.8 acres Parks and Gardens land was allocated on 2nd October, 1952 by the then colonial Commissioner of Lands as our foremost Horticultural Nursery.
It has since served as an active green open space where diverse tree species are cultivated, and other seedlings are nursed to meet our national environmental objectives.
Sharing the news on Facebook on Sunday (23 June), Ablakwa urged Dani Ike Estate Developers Limited to stop the harassment and go for a refund from whoever sold the prime Cantonments land belonging to Parks and Gardens to them.
“Dani Ike Estate Developers Limited are well advised to stop the harassment and go for a refund from whoever sold our prime Cantonments land belonging to Parks and Gardens to them.”
Ablakwa further warned Parliament will soon launch an inquiry into what he describes as the ongoing “despicable” state capture and all those harassing public officials to vacate those properties.
