Campbell Baird
Asante Gold Corporation has appointed Campbell Baird as Acting Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect following the retirement of former CEO Dave Anthony in March 2026.
Mr. Baird, who was appointed Chief Operating Officer on March 11, 2026, brings more than 30 years of international mining experience across Africa, Australia and North America.
According to Asante Gold, Mr. Baird has been working closely with teams at the Bibiani and Chirano mines to improve operational performance and efficiency.
Executive Chairman Malik Easah said the Board is confident in Mr. Baird’s leadership and believes the company is well positioned to maintain operational momentum under his direction.
