B5 Plus Limited has paid more than GH¢1 billion in taxes between January and September 2026, according to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
The disclosure was made during a top management engagement with the company, where the Commissioner of the GRA’s Domestic Tax Revenue Division, Dr Martin Kolbil Yamborigya, commended B5 Plus for what the Authority described as exemplary tax compliance.
The GRA said the revenue generated through domestic taxation contributes to funding national development, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, security and social interventions.
The Authority urged businesses and individuals to strengthen compliance by filing their tax returns accurately and on time and requesting VAT invoices for transactions.
The GRA said stronger domestic revenue mobilisation remains critical to Ghana’s efforts to finance development and reduce reliance on external support.
