The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has officially rebranded as BOST Energies, signaling a new phase in its growth and commitment to Ghana’s energy transition agenda.
Since its establishment in 1993, BOST has been central to securing Ghana’s strategic petroleum reserves and developing one of West Africa’s largest energy logistics networks.
The rebrand to BOST Energies, the company says, reflects both its enduring role in ensuring energy security and its forward-looking strategy to diversify into cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
Under the new identity, BOST Energies is set to integrate solar power into its operations, reduce waste across its value chain, and explore alternative fuels. These initiatives align with Ghana’s National Energy Transition Framework, which seeks to balance the country’s energy security with environmental sustainability.
“Reliability and resilience have always been the backbone of our mandate,” management noted in a statement, adding that the new phase will see BOST Energies lead efforts in energy diversity and innovation.
