COVID-19: Ghana’s active cases drop to 6,404 , death toll 588

At least four more persons have died of COVID-19 taking Ghana’s death toll to 588 , a Ghana Health Service (GHS) update revealed.

The country’s active cases now stand at 6,404 after 428 new coronavirus cases were confirmed at the laboratories.

As at 21 February 2021, the GHS reports that the country’s total confirmed cases increased to 81,673 out of which 74, 681 have recovered.

So far, 95 persons are in severe condition while 29 remain critical, according to GHS. Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 1,212  with 1,054  recoveries.
