Motorists travelling from the Motorway Roundabout towards the VALCO Roundabout in Tema have been advised to use alternative routes following an incident involving an overturned tanker.
The fuel tanker, with registration number GN 4978-12, overturned at the VALCO Roundabout, causing a disruption to traffic flow in the area.
Fire officers have since been deployed to the scene and are actively managing a spill involving naphthalene condensate while working to secure the area and prevent any potential hazards.
Authorities are urging road users to exercise caution and avoid the affected route as emergency response efforts continue.
