The Ghana National Gas Limited Company (GNGLC) has announced a temporary suspension of all sponsorship activities, effective immediately.
This decision affects all existing and prospective sponsorship agreements and partnerships across the country.
In a public notice issued by the Board and Management of the company, Ghana Gas emphasized that “ALL SPONSORSHIPS from the company have been put ON HOLD until further notice.” While no specific reasons were cited, the company expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of the general public and stakeholders during this period.
The move is expected to have implications for community events, youth and sports programs, corporate partnerships, and other initiatives that traditionally rely on financial and logistical support from Ghana Gas.
Ghana Gas remains a key player in the country’s energy sector, overseeing the processing and transmission of natural gas to support power generation and industrial development. The company has also played a visible role in corporate social responsibility, particularly in the areas of education, health, and local infrastructure support.
Though the timeline for the suspension remains unclear, stakeholders are advised to stay updated through official communications from the company.
