Afetsi Awoonor
The General Transport, Petroleum and Chemical Workers’ Union (GTPCWU) of Trade Union Congress (Ghana), BOST Chapter, has congratulated the newly appointed Managing Director of BOST, Afetsi Awoonor.
President John Mahama last week appointed Afetsi Awoonor as the Acting Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST).
The appointment, forms part of the president’s strategy to strengthen leadership across key state enterprises.
Afetsi Awoonor brings an exceptional track record of transformative leadership in sub-Saharan Africa’s energy, oil, gas, and mining industries.
Renowned for his ability to execute multi-billion-dollar projects and navigate complex regulatory landscapes, Afetsi is widely regarded as a strategic thinker committed to sustainability and economic growth.
In a statement issued on Monday(20 January), GTPCWU says it will support Awoonor’s adminsitration to succeed in his new role.
