The Minerals Commission has warned the public against fraudulent job recruitment schemes involving individuals and unauthorised entities claiming to offer employment with the Commission in exchange for fees.
In a statement, the Commission said it has not contracted any individual, agent or group to recruit on its behalf.
It stressed that recruitment into the public service of Ghana is free, and that the Commission does not demand payment, down payments or facilitation fees at any stage of its recruitment process.
The Commission said genuine recruitment opportunities, when available, are advertised through national newspapers, its official website, www.mincom.gov.gh, verified social media platforms and news portals.
It urged prospective applicants to rely only on these official channels and warned them against dealing with persons or groups making unauthorised recruitment claims.
Members of the public who are approached with such offers have been advised to report the matter to the nearest law enforcement agency or through the Minerals Commission’s official contact channels.
