Musician stabbed to death in Cape Coast

The Central Regional Police Command is investigating circumstances leading to the death of a Cape Coast based Musician.

The 24-year-old musician Emmanuel Aikins popularly known as Soft Metal met his untimely death at the Orange Beach Resort during an altercation with a 27-year-old Bright Ellis who is an artisan.

The musician is said to have been stabbed by the artisan with a knife during a fight.

The musician who was bleeding profusely as a result of the stabbing was rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspect who also sustained a cut on his left hand subsequently made a report at the police station against the deceased and was issued with medical forms but was later arrested by the police to assist with investigations.
