Newcore Gold Ltd. has reported further gold mineralisation from ongoing drilling at its Enchi Gold Project in Ghana, with results from seven reverse circulation (RC) holes completed at the Boin Gold Deposit.
The company said all seven holes, covering a total of 960 metres, intersected gold mineralisation as part of its ongoing 80,000-metre drill programme at Enchi.
The latest results include hole KBRC411, which intersected 2.59 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 69 metres from 58 metres, including 6.41 g/t over 24 metres from 59 metres.
Newcore said the intercept is one of the widest and highest grade-thickness zones encountered at Boin to date.
Other results include hole KBRC414, which intersected 0.83 g/t gold over 32 metres from 70 metres, including 3.37 g/t over six metres from 84 metres.
Hole KBRC404 also intersected 0.68 g/t gold over 22 metres from 70 metres, including 1.64 g/t over seven metres.
The drilling targeted shallow mineralisation in the central portion of the Boin deposit, with the company seeking to improve geological confidence, confirm grade continuity and support potential future mine plan optimisation.
Newcore said the latest results have not been included in the current Mineral Resource Estimate or the Pre-Feasibility Study for the Enchi project.
The seven holes were drilled across five sections along a 1.9-kilometre strike length and reached a maximum vertical depth of 125 metres.
The latest results bring the total reported drilling from the ongoing programme to 47,100 metres in 295 holes, with 99% of the holes reported to date intersecting gold mineralisation, according to Newcore.
The 80,000-metre programme is focused on resource conversion, resource growth and discovery. RC drilling is targeting near-surface mineralisation, while diamond drilling is being used to test higher-grade mineralisation at depth.
Newcore said drilling completed in 2026 has continued to highlight gold mineralisation at depth and below the pits that constrain the current Mineral Reserve and Mineral Resource Estimates.
The Enchi Gold Project currently has a Probable Mineral Reserve of 51.3 million tonnes grading 0.64 g/t gold and containing 1.055 million ounces of gold.
It also has an Indicated Mineral Resource of 83.6 million tonnes grading 0.56 g/t gold containing 1.502 million ounces, and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 40.1 million tonnes grading 0.49 g/t gold containing 626,000 ounces.
Boin is one of four deposits included in the current Mineral Reserve and Mineral Resource Estimate. Newcore reports a Probable Mineral Reserve at Boin of 15.9 million tonnes grading 0.84 g/t gold and containing 429,000 ounces.
The company said all deposits at Enchi remain open for expansion along strike and at depth.
Newcore is also undertaking metallurgical testwork, hydrogeological testing, geotechnical work and environmental work as part of the continued advancement of the Enchi project.
