The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rabotec Group, Alhaji Ali Ibrahim, has visited the company’s Sycamore Mine site in Guinea to commend workers for their performance in safety compliance and production output.
During the visit, Alhaji Ibrahim interacted with staff and expressed appreciation for what he described as their outstanding dedication, discipline, and commitment to operational standards. He also presented recognition and rewards to selected employees for exceptional performance on the job.
Addressing the workforce, the Chairman praised the team for maintaining strong safety practices while delivering consistent production results, noting that their performance had exceeded expectations despite operating in a workforce he described as relatively inexperienced. He said this achievement had also been well received by the company’s client.

He explained that the visit was intended to give management firsthand insight into operations at the site, understand challenges faced by workers, and explore ways to further strengthen operational support.
Alhaji Ibrahim reaffirmed Rabotec Group’s commitment to providing the necessary logistics, resources, and managerial support to ensure continued efficiency, productivity, and safety across its operations.

He was accompanied by the company’s New Business and Contracts Executive, Joseph Abu Baka, who also addressed the workers.
Mr. Abu Baka urged staff to remain committed to safe work practices and to uphold industry mining standards in all aspects of their work.
