Stanbic Bank Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability through its support for the 2026 Ghana Garden and Flower Show, which focused on the theme “Green Means Business, Beauty and More.”
The bank said its participation in the event reflects its commitment to initiatives that promote environmental protection and encourage practical action towards a greener Ghana.
Speaking during a roundtable discussion on sustainability and business, Evelyn Adomako, ESG Officer at Stanbic Bank Ghana, said sustainable business involves using resources responsibly while creating long-term value for people, businesses and the environment.
Stanbic said it is also implementing initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable practices, including a tree-planting programme.
The bank said it planted 50,000 trees in 2026 as part of its ambition to plant one million trees by 2030.
It also highlighted its Sustainability Academy, which provides businesses with practical tools to incorporate responsible and sustainable practices into their operations.
Stanbic Bank said its sponsorship of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show is part of its broader efforts to support initiatives that promote environmental awareness, nature and sustainable development.
