The Ghana Police Service on Friday (October 30) arrested a 47-year-old woman, Beatrice Mumuni in connection with the murder of two people at NTHC Estate in Sakumono.
The deceased, identified as George Atuguba, 57, and his niece, Irene Atuguba, 47, were allegedly shot and killed at their residence.
In an update on the case, the police said Beatrice Mumuni was believed to have led the principal suspect, Samuel Christopher Osei Anto, to the victims’ residence before the murders.
Meanwhile, Samuel Christopher Osei Anto has been declared wanted to assist investigations into the case.
The police have announced a GH¢100,000 reward for credible information leading to his arrest.
Members of the public with information about his whereabouts have been urged to report to the nearest police station or contact the police through emergency numbers 191 or 18555.
