The Minister of Energy John Jinapor has commended BOSTEnergies, formerly known as Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Ltd. (BOST), for its renewed dynamism, efficiency, and strategic direction under its current management.
During a supervisory visit to the company, the Minister said he was impressed by the transformation taking place within the organization and praised the leadership for its proactive approach in strengthening Ghana’s fuel security framework.
He described the rebranding from BOST to BOSTEnergies as a powerful signal of the company’s deeper commitment to delivering energy security across the country — a core pillar of Ghana’s economic stability and national development.
“I am particularly encouraged by the creation of a Renewable Energy Department, which aligns with global best practices and supports the President’s vision for a cleaner energy future,” Jinapor said.
He also emphasized the need for continued infrastructure expansion, including the development of more depots, pipelines, and efficient distribution systems to meet growing national demand and close regional supply gaps.
Jinapor reaffirmed that BOSTEnergies remains central to Ghana’s energy security architecture and expressed confidence in the company’s ability to lead with innovation and purpose.
“I remain fully committed to supporting BOSTEnergies technically, strategically, and at the policy level in line with President Mahama’s vision for a resilient and sustainable energy sector,” he added.
