The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has undertaken a working visit to the GOIL LPG Bottling Plant as part of efforts to promote safety and operational excellence in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.
The visit allowed COMAC to observe the plant’s bottling processes, safety protocols, and quality control systems, including cylinder inspection, filling, and dispatch procedures.
According to the Chamber, the facility demonstrated a structured approach to ensuring LPG products meet required safety standards before reaching consumers, with strong adherence to operational procedures and the use of protective equipment by staff.
COMAC also noted the plant’s emphasis on safety culture and the integration of real-time monitoring systems to enhance responsiveness and risk management during operations.
The Chamber said the engagement with GOIL PLC forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen industry practices through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the sector.
