Lands and Natural Resources Minister and Acting Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has handed over the administration of the Environment Ministry to newly sworn-in sector Minister Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.
Mr Buah announced the handover in a statement following a meeting with Dr Agyeman-Rawlings, saying he briefed her on the Ministry’s ongoing initiatives, key milestones and current operational status.
According to him, the briefing was intended to support a smooth transition and ensure continuity in the Ministry’s work.

“I officially handed over the reins of the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology to the newly sworn-in sector minister, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings,” Mr Buah said.
He expressed confidence that Dr Agyeman-Rawlings would build on the progress made by the Ministry and deliver further results in support of President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda.
“I am confident that under her capable leadership, the ministry will consolidate the gains made and achieve even greater results to advance the President’s Reset Agenda,” he said.

Mr Buah also expressed gratitude to President Mahama for entrusting him with the responsibility of overseeing the Ministry.
“I extend my profound gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for the honour and trust reposed in me,” he said.
Dr Agyeman-Rawlings’ assumption of the portfolio follows her swearing-in as Minister for Environment, Science and Technology.
