Ghanaian Media Personality, Gifty Anti and husband Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa are celebrating 8 years of love today.
Gifty and Nana Ansah Kwao IV got married at the Trinity Baptist Church on the 15th of October, 2015.
Gifty Anti, now known as “Oheneyere” (Chief’s wife) shared some photos of her and her wonderful husband on Instagram to mark their anniversary.
“8 years a journey …15th October 2015 to 15th October 2023!! Nyame Ay3 Bi. Happy anniversary to us, Nana Ansah Kwao IV. Cheers to God’s perfect will concerning us,” she captioned the photos.
She welcomed her first child on 11 August, 2017.
Gifty Anti in May this year expressed her disappointment over rumours circulating on social media suggesting that she has ended her marriage with Nana Ansah Kwao IV.
Several publications in April 2023 suggested that Gifty Anti had ejected her husband from their marital home.
She was a recent guest on a TV show and used the opportunity to dispel the rumour.
The host of the show asked whether she was separated or threw her husband from their home as suggested by rumour peddlers.
In response, Ms Anti laughed and asked, “Should I call him for you?”
She continued: “We have decided to talk at the appropriate time. It’s not the first time this has happened, and obviously, I am the target. The people talking about me do not know me. They don’t know anything about me. So, what should I do? Go around telling everybody about it? I stay focused because these things can derail me. I am hurt and disappointed.”
According to Gifty Anti, her stance on the positive aspect of feminism often attract people to attack her personality, but she is not perturbed.
“It is difficult to really speak your truth these days, especially with all the attacks going on and because you are a strong woman and a feminist. This journey we are on, if you are not careful, you will be fighting and saving the world whiles you will be in a mess.
“In my book, there is a story of a woman who is saving the world, but meanwhile, there is pain. This woman became diagnosed with depression because she was out there saving people,” she indicated on Joy Prime.
