The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Hohoe Command, swiftly responded to a distress call involving a petroleum tanker accident at Holy Trinity in Hohoe.
The tanker, which was carrying approximately 13,500 litres of petrol, veered off the road after a broken shaft and a burst tyre. Firefighters promptly applied foam concentrate to cool the tanker and suppress vapours, successfully preventing any fire or explosion.
The situation was brought under control without casualties. The fuel was fully salvaged, and the road was cleared to allow the resumption of normal traffic flow.

The Volta North Police Service, Hohoe, supported the operation by providing security and traffic management.
