Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment by hosting students from Presec Basic School, Madina on an educational visit to Parliament House.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday, offered the students a rare opportunity to witness parliamentary proceedings firsthand and interact with their elected representative. The initiative forms part of the MP’s broader efforts to promote civic education and inspire leadership among young people in his constituency.
Taking to social media to share the moment, Mr. Sosu wrote: “Great to welcome students from Presec Basic School, Madina, to Parliament yesterday! As someone passionate about youth empowerment, I believe early exposure to leadership shapes the future we all dream of. Madina’s future is rising — and we’re building it together.”

The students were taken on a guided tour of the legislative chambers, received a briefing on the functions of Parliament, and had the opportunity to ask questions about lawmaking, governance, and public service.
Mr. Sosu, a known advocate for youth development and human rights, emphasized that empowering the next generation through education, civic exposure, and mentorship remains central to his vision for Madina.

The visit adds to several recent youth-focused initiatives by the MP aimed at building a more informed and participatory citizenry, starting from the classroom.
