Nominations open for maiden edition of Women in Mining and Energy Awards

Nominations have officially opened for the maiden edition of the Women in Mining and Energy Awards, WIMEA 2021.

The prestigious awards seek to recognise the unique contribution of outstanding women in the mining and energy sector of Ghana.

Organisers of the maiden award said “It is set to “recognize outstanding achievements, contributions and value additions of women in the mining and energy sector!”.

It added “In as much as this industry is concerned, individuals who have effectively and efficiently contributed their quota in industry development under complex constraints deserve some accolades and respective honours.”

The award which is slated for 28 May at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra is expected to put the spotlight on women and promote excellence in their respective sector.
