AngloGold Iduapriem Mine on Monday, October 13, 2025, hosted the Parliamentary Select Committee on Employment, Labour Relations and Pensions as part of the Committee’s oversight mandate to engage with key stakeholders and gain firsthand insight into operations and labour practices within the mining sector.
During the visit, the Managing Director of AngloGold Iduapriem Mine, Daniel Boadi, together with the management committee, shared updates on the mine’s operational performance, people strategy, and ongoing efforts to promote fair labour practices and enhance employee wellbeing.

The Committee, led by its Chairman, Joseph Appiah Boateng, Member of Parliament for Afram Plains South, commended AngloGold Iduapriem Mine for its proactive initiatives and urged management to sustain its commitment to innovation, responsible mining, and industrial harmony.

The engagement, according to management, reflects AngloGold Iduapriem’s dedication to responsible and sustainable mining, as well as its collaboration with government and regulators in advancing national development and social progress.
