Tremors
Parts of the Greater Accra Region have been hits by earth tremor.
Friday’s morning tremor according to the Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA) measured 2.8 on the Ritcher scale.
A statement issued by the Ghana Geological Survey Authority on Friday (10 March), said the tremor was slightly felt at the High Street, Ridge and some other parts of Accra Central.
“On Friday 10th March an earth tremor event occured around 9:49 am in parts of the Greater Accra Region.”
“The event has a magnitude of 2.8 on the Ritcher scale,” the GGSA statement said.
If you are in Accra, did you feel the tremor that I just felt? The entire building I am in trembled for a second or two, I don’t know.

This is the second time an Earth tremor is hitting Accra in less than three months.
On December 22, an earth tremor of a magnitude of 4.0 was experienced in parts of the Greater Accra Region/
