At least 42 Democracy hub protestors have been arrested for engaging in various acts of lawlessness at the 37 intersection on Sunday, an official statement has said.
The demonstrators began a three-day protest on 21 September against the illegal mining and what they describe as poor governance in the country.
A statement issued by the police on Sunday (22 September) said a search is underway to arrest some of the leaders including Oliver Barker-Vormarwor who has been declared wanted.
