There was drama in Tema following a near-fisticuffs between Ghana Immigration Service staff and Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority (GPHA) security officials.
Report suggests the incident began after the GPHA security officials stormed the offices of GIS to pick up two of their staff for questioning after a misunderstanding that occurred during their routine vessel checks on MSC DYMPHNA.
Their quest to arrest the two GIS officials were met with resistance leading to exchanges between officials from the two institutions.
