Gold Fields Ghana has presented a cheque of over GHC 400,000 to the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) in support of this year’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
This year’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work will be celebrated on 26 April.
This year’s theme, “Good psychosocial working environments: A pathway to thriving workers and strong organization” — resonates deeply with our commitment to a Culture of Care and Accountability.
Gold Fields Ghana is optimistic the partnership will help build what it describes as Courage Zone: a space where safety is a shared responsibility and voices are respected.
It will also help empower host communities with knowledge on how supportive psychosocial environments create healthier, more resilient workplaces.
