NPA boss Godwin Edudzi Tameklo and Energy Minister John Jinapor at the Airport
The remains of the Deputy Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Dr Dramani Bukari, have arrived in Accra.
A delegation led by the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Jinapor, NPA Chief Executive Godwin Tameklo, representatives of the Authority’s leadership and family members gathered at the Accra International Airport to receive his remains.
The NPA announced that the burial service will continue in Damongo in the Savannah Region on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

The Authority described Dr Bukari’s death as a painful loss, paying tribute to him as a humble and cherished member of the institution.

Further funeral arrangements are expected to continue in Damongo.
