Reports available to ghextractives.com from parliament indicates that all minister designates vetted in the first round have been approved by the appointments committee of the house.
According to our sources in parliament, the three ministers-designates who were reportedly rejected initially, the minister designate for information hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the minister designate for Agriculture Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto and the minister designate for Fisheries and acquaculture Mavis Hawa koomson were however approved by majority decision of the committee.
The other 27 were approved by consensus.
This latest development also indicates that the five minister designates who were initially put on hold for various reasons have been cleared by the committee and recommended for approval accordingly.
