The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has congratulated its member, Zen Petroleum Holdings PLC, following its successful listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange and an oversubscribed Initial Public Offering (IPO) that raised GHS640 million.
COMAC described the milestone as a defining moment for the wholly Ghanaian-owned company and a significant boost for indigenous participation in both the energy sector and capital markets.
The Chamber noted that the strong investor response to the IPO reflects growing confidence in locally owned enterprises and their capacity to compete at the highest levels.
According to the COMAC 2025 Industry Report, Zen Petroleum currently holds a 5.90 percent market share, ranking fourth among Ghana’s top ten Oil Marketing Companies. The company recorded total sales volumes of 437,089,593 litres in 2025, representing a 10.08 percent year-on-year growth.
Zen Petroleum operates 58 service stations nationwide, employs over 1,300 people, and supplies more than 30 million litres of fuel monthly, reinforcing its position as a key player in the downstream petroleum sector.
COMAC also highlighted the company’s reputation for quality service, strategic international partnerships, and its pioneering role in introducing low-sulphur diesel onto the Ghanaian market.
