The EPA Ladies Association (EPALA) has marked its first anniversary with a grooming session that brought together members from across the country in a celebration of unity, growth and impact.
The event, held on April 30, 2026, drew participation from all regional offices of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), with some members joining virtually to ensure nationwide inclusion.
Chief Executive Officer of the EPA, Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of empowering women within the institution and strengthening collaboration in advancing environmental protection.
She later joined EPALA executives and members for a ceremonial cake-cutting, with regional teams participating simultaneously, underscoring the association’s commitment to inclusivity.
The programme featured a series of engagements aimed at personal and professional development, alongside moments of reflection on the association’s achievements over the past year.
EPALA, which brings together female staff of the EPA, continues to position itself as a platform for mentorship, support and capacity building, while contributing to the Authority’s broader environmental sustainability goals.
