Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah
Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, one of Ghana’s most accomplished law enforcement and financial management professionals, has been inducted as a Chartered Tax Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
This latest achievement adds to her already impressive academic and professional portfolio, reinforcing her reputation as a disciplined, goal-driven leader who continues to pursue excellence despite the demands of her national assignments.
COP Addo-Danquah, who recently assumed the role of Technical Advisor to the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, was celebrated by colleagues and admirers for her relentless commitment to continuous learning.
According to close associates, she devoted long hours—often late into the night and throughout weekends—to her studies even while managing high-level national security responsibilities.
Her graduation has been described as a testament to her resilience and work ethic. As one colleague recounted, “She never stopped studying. Even after long programmes and late nights, when we said we were going to sleep, she would say she was going to study.”

COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah is among the most decorated female officers in the Ghana Police Service. She is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (FCA), as well as a Chartered Forensic Accountant and Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She also holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Cape Coast Business School.
