Bawumia exchanging pleasantries with Otumfuo
The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has asked the Asantehene for his blessings and support ahead of the 4 November elections to elect a Flagbearer for the governing New Patriotic Party.
Bawumia made the request after leading a government delegation to join Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to observe the 6th Akwasidae of the year at the Manhyia Palace on Sunday ( 3 September).
“…I came for blessings ahead of the Special Delegate conference, truly when I came he blessed me and I was victorious.
“I have to be grateful, so I have come back to thank him and also asked for another blessings as we go into the final contest for NPP Flagbearership race.”
“The race is not yet over, I have come again to seek for your blessing and direction to win the race to win, Bawumia said.
