PETROSOL Ghana’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Bozumbil, has been honoured with the Energy Business Leadership Award at the 2025 Ghana Energy Awards, held on Thursday at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
The award recognises his leadership in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector and his contributions to the development of the broader energy industry.
Bozumbil has led Petrosol for years, overseeing its expansion and strengthening its reputation as one of the country’s fastest-growing indigenous oil marketing companies.
His recognition comes at a time when he has also been appointed to significant national roles. Bozumbil currently serves as a Commissioner of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) and as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), representing the Ghana Employers’ Association.

These appointments highlight his influence beyond the petroleum industry and reflect his contributions to national economic planning and social protection governance.
Petrosol staff and stakeholders have congratulated Bozumbil on the honour, describing it as a testament to his commitment to operational excellence, ethical leadership, and national service.

The Ghana Energy Awards, organised annually, recognises individuals and institutions demonstrating exceptional performance and innovation across the energy sector.
