President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, together with the think tank’s Vice President for Innovation and Technology, Selorm Branttie, and Senior Research Associate, Dennis Asare, on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House.
The high-level engagement focused on key national issues, with particular emphasis on Ghana’s Lithium agreement.
The meeting was part of the President’s efforts to better understand IMANI’s assessment of the deal and its implications for national development.
According to IMANI Africa, the organisation will prepare and submit a comprehensive dossier to the Presidency in the coming days.
The document will outline major policy concerns, governance gaps, and strategic recommendations aimed at ensuring Ghana maximises value from its mineral resources, especially emerging critical minerals such as lithium.
IMANI reiterated its commitment to transparent, fact-based policy analysis and advocacy, noting that constructive dialogue between civil society and government is essential for effective natural resource governance.
