Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has publicly acknowledged her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, as the Leader of the Kantanka Family and the Kristo Asafo Church.
In a statement on Thursday(8 October), Ms Safo said she had chosen reconciliation and family unity following differences that emerged after the death of their father, Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo.
She said she had “immense love and respect” for her brother and expressed her willingness to work with him to advance their father’s vision and legacy.
“Our father’s legacy transcends any one individual. It is a collective inheritance and a profound responsibility entrusted to us, as his children,” she said.
Ms Safo urged members of the Kristo Asafo Church, the Kantanka family and others associated with her late father’s work to respect the unity of the family and embrace a new chapter of reconciliation and shared purpose.
