The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) says power supply has been fully restored to all areas affected by a system disturbance that occurred on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
According to GRIDCo, restoration efforts began immediately after the disturbance, with its engineers and technical teams across the power sector working to restore electricity to affected areas.
GRIDCo said power supply had been fully restored by 12:03 p.m. on Thursday.
The company expressed appreciation to the public and other stakeholders for their patience, cooperation and support during the restoration process.
